The EU Law Standalone Module is a part-time online short course. This module provides you with the opportunity to study EU Law specifically if your underlying law degree did not include EU Law to include the full suite of foundation subjects, which a qualifying law degree provides.

Course Details
Passing this module will support you in progressing within the wider legal sector and other commercial or business fields, as well as completing the academic stage of training if you wish to qualify as a lawyer. It can also form the foundation if you wish to study for a Law Master’s degree. Entry to these subsequent courses will be dependent on the result in the underlying Law degree that this module supplements.

Please note this module is a supplement to your Qualifying Law Degree and will not have an impact on the overall grade. There will be no award provided with this module.
Eligibility
To be eligible to take up your place on the course, you must have an underlying law degree.
For students wishing to qualify as a lawyer you must complete this module and comply with the eligibility requirements for each course you wish to study. Entry to these courses will be dependent on the result in the underlying Law degree that this module supplements.
Course Structure and Assessment
The EU Law Standalone Module includes 10 units.
Eight of these units are Submitted Unit Tasks (SUTs), which are tasks that are submitted on a schedule for lecturer review.
The module is assessed by coursework and is submitted online within approximately two weeks from issue.
A mock assessment will also be included at the midpoint of the module.
No attendance is required. Support is provided by online lecturer supervision of SUTs, additional feedback generated by the learning platform and two online live lecturer sessions; the first is conducted shortly after module commencement and the second before coursework release.
You will have access to all study materials, including module outlines, the student handbook (provided online) and assessment information.
