welcome to HONG KONG
Study in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, where we launched our first international campus in 2019, an outstanding opportunity to bring our quality legal and business training to this exciting region. We welcome students not just from Hong Kong but from across the world.
About Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a world hub for commerce and finance with over 900 law firms, making it an ideal location to study and launch a career in law. In an increasingly global economy we take pride in maintaining an international outlook. We have built strong links with law schools and professional bodies throughout the world. We will be working closely with these local law firms and businesses to ensure that our courses are designed with students’ employability in mind.
Our lecturers bring invaluable real-life experience into the classroom, helping our students stand out in the job market. We have nurtured many relationships in the region providing our students with links to mentors, alumni, work experience, internships, pro bono work and opportunities to further their legal or business studies. It is this excellence in teaching and support that we are excited to bring to Hong Kong.
Courses available at our Hong Kong campus
Students are able to choose from a portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate courses as well as examination preparatory courses, aimed at law, non-law and business students or graduates.
Upon completion of our courses, students are eligible to progress onto further studies to become lawyers in Hong Kong, England and Wales, or to enhance their career in a variety of industries, not only legal or business.

Employability support
We invite our Hong Kong alumni to mentor our students. Through our mentoring scheme, students can benefit from our alumni’s real-life work experience in Hong Kong, get the latest updates from the current landscape in the legal industry and advice on planning a career.
We run a large and varied legal Pro Bono programme, offering wide varieties of opportunities each year, to enable you to put the skills you’ve learnt into practice and gain the type of experience that employers value.
Examples of these Pro Bono opportunities include:
Legal advice centres
Participate in legal advice centres, answering legal enquiries from the general public. This casework programme gives you valuable first-hand experience of client relationships, legal research and drafting legal documents.
Shadowing opportunities
We organise a range of shadowing opportunities throughout the year to give students the opportunity to see and experience first-hand what it’s like to be a solicitor or judge.
We host guest speakers’ lectures from a wide range of lawyers and business professionals from both local and international firms. They focus on key issues that affect the current legal and business sector, allowing you to gather key information on what is going on and how to plan your career.
Employment Promise
We’re so confident you’ll succeed that if you don’t obtain a job in nine months after completing your course you'll get 100% of your fees back, made up of 50% as cashback, plus 50% as credit towards another course.*

Our Events
We run regular information seminars where we introduce about our programmes to students and showcase how our teaching quality could benefit them by supporting them to become successful in their legal or business careers.
In order for students to have a ‘taste’ on how our teaching is delivered, we run taster sessions on different programmes using specific topics to allow students to experience what it is like to be taught by our qualified lawyers or business professionals.
Our alumni network is one of the largest legal alumni groups in the UK, connecting over 100,000 members from around the world. The University of Law Hong Kong Alumni Network (HKAN) was established in 2019 to promote the unity between the University, our alumni and students who are from or based in Hong Kong. We host regular networking and reunion events including cocktail receptions, mentoring events and social gatherings to encourage our members to expand and develop their professional network.
