Chartered Accountant

What does a chartered accountant do?

Chartered accountants provide financial and business advice to help companies thrive and meet statutory requirements. This might involve services such as financial reporting, taxation, auditing, forensic accounting, corporate finance, business recovery and insolvency, or accounting systems and processes. Accountants tend to work in practice – supporting a range of clients, or in-house – focussing on the needs of their own organisation.
